Lite 100.5 WRCH remains visible in the community with unique events and programs
The station has raised nearly half a million dollars to support Breast Cancer Charities with its Nite of Lite Laughter fundraiser and online auction.
The station staff broadcasts a day long radio-thon for World Vision, a charitable organization, to sponsor children around the world in need of food, clean drinking water and medical attention. Local Listeners sponsored close to 500 children.
For National Radon month, WRCH worked with the Connecticut Lung Association, and brought Radon Testing to top of mind, and drove huge amounts of listeners to purchase radon detection kits.
Governor Jodi Rell joins Allan, Mike and Allison on a regular basis to discuss everything from taxes to the importance of legislation regarding Habitual Criminals.
Allan Mike and Allison aided New Britain High School’s marching band by urging listeners to donate instruments and funds to replace band instruments that are being held together with duct tape.
